BQE Water Reports AGM Results & Grants Options to Directors, Officers and Employees

VANCOUVER, BC – BQE Water Inc. (TSX-V: BQE) (“BQE Water” or the “Company”), a leader in the treatment of mine impacted water, today reported the results of the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of shareholders held on December 7, 2017. The shareholders decided to reduce the number of directors from six to five.  Accordingly, George Poling, Clement Pelletier, Christopher Fleming, Peter Gleeson and David Kratochvil were nominated and elected as directors of BQE Water.

The Company would like to take this opportunity to thank Ronald Sifton, who elected not to stand for re-election, for his time and significant efforts on behalf of the Company.

The directors were elected to hold office until the next AGM or until their successors are elected or appointed. The directors have appointed George Poling as Chair of the Board for the upcoming year. Detailed voting results for the meeting are available on SEDAR at www.sedar.com.

The shareholders approved all other matters as proposed.

BQE Water also announces that it has granted to directors, officers and employees a total of 4,200,000 stock options under the Company’s Stock Option Plan. The options have a five year term and are exercisable at a price of $0.06 per share, and vest 1/3 one year after date of grant, 1/3 two years after date of grant, and the remaining 1/3 three years after date of grant.
